Once upon a time...

On a cold, very cold saturday in december we made a nostalgic trip. 

I got a hint from a good old ( ;-) ) friend (Thank you :) ) and so we went to the Drachenfels in Königswinter in the middle of the beautiful Siebengebirge. More than ten years ago, when I was last time here. 

We use the traditional tram to the top of the mountain.

After I got off the train, I saw the amazing and stunning view and sunset.

This reminds on the beautiful sunset from the beginning of the year, when it was really really cold, but the most beautiful sunset.

From above, you have a great view over the rhine valley and here the island Nonnenwerth.

Going a little bit lower, there is the Drachenburg.

On this weekend, there was a little christmas market there.
